Bravo the Black Labrador

Bravo is a beautiful black lab who has landed squarely on his paws after being retired from Durham Police Force. Sadly, Bravo's handler suffered some health difficulties and it was thought best to retire Bravo, rather than pass him on to a new handler. Bravo's retiral says a lot about the special bond between police handler and dog. The charity taking care of rehoming retired police dogs in Durham is Paws Up.

Although I arrived in Lanchester just as the worst of the rain started, we still managed to get a decent set of photos for his owners - thank goodness for lens hoods and protective filters!
