Callie and Brodie

This was Hairy Dog's first session at Seaton Park, Aberdeen. I really wanted to get St Machar's Cathedral in as a backdrop and although the light was in *exactly* the wrong place, we were able to use a spot of flash to balance the exposures nicely. Callie and Brodie's owners had explained to me that they'd had photos of the two dogs taken before but they'd been studio photos - almost in the style of a newborn baby shoot. They wanted images which reflected the dogs' true natures and the owners' lifestyles - I was happy to oblige and thanks to their help and patience, we came away with a fantastic set of photographs.
