I always, always take a note of a dog's name at the start of a photo session. Whilst I never forget a doggy face, names come less easily to me. But I must admit that in this case, I completely forgot his name and had to phone and ask. How do you forget a unique name like that? Especially when it's somehow so suited to the dog?

Anyway, we had a great session - in and out of the woods, the lakes and the rolling parkland. Skittle's owners were incredibly helpful, and more than willing to be human lightstands, in between calling Skittle. I hope you'll agree that he's a very handsome chap who did incredibly well under the stern gaze of the camera!
